Plasti-Kote Truck Bed Liner GallonPlati-kote Truck Bed Liner provides maximum protection for your new or used truck bed. This textured spray permanently bonds to surface paint. Texture, non-skid rubber granules. Roll-on, brush-on or spray-on. Resists abrasion. Compatible with original factory paint surface and metal, iron and steel. Truck bed liner may lift or wrinkle a non-original factory finish. Application Tips: Items needed - Wax & Grease Remover, #80 or #180 grit sandpaper, masking tape and paper. For roll-on application, a paint tray and a 3 inch wide, 3/8 nap, general purpose roller is required. For spray-on application, an undercoat spray gun is required. This product is designed to be applied only over the ORIGINAL FACTORY FINISH or Plasti-Kote AEROSOL Truck Bed Liner. Repainted surfaces may wrinkle or lift. PREPARATION - Truck bed should be high pressure washed and rinsed. Dry thoroughly. Clean all surfaces with Wax and Grease Remover. Sand all areas to be painted with #80 - #180 grit sandpaper. Rewash the truck bed to remove sanding residue. ROLL ON APPLICATION - Paint the corners, under the bed rails, and other difficult to reach areas first with a 2-3 inch paint brush, or use Plasti-Kote #265 Black Aerosol Truck Bed Liner. Paint the front and side vertical surfaces of the truck bed first. Paint the truck bed floor, starting at the front of the truck bed and work your way back. Allow 24 hours dry time before using the truck bed. SPRAY ON APPLICATION - A minimum of 35 p.s.i. at the gun is needed for proper application. Test on an inconspicuous area to ensure proper pressure and desired texture. Follow ROLL-ON instructions above. CLEAN UP - While still wet, excess Truck Bed Liner can be wiped away with soap and water. Truck Bed Liner can not be removed after it dries. TOUCH UP - Your Plasti-Kote Truck Bed Liner is extremely durable. However, should it be necessary to touch up an area, you can roll-on or spray-on more #265G product; or you can apply Plasti-Kote #265 Aerosol Truck Bed Liner.
